Emily Wallace — Co-Founder

Emily Wallace is a wilderness medicine educator guided by Kaizen—continuous improvement. She grew up in the Philippines, where self-sufficiency and disaster readiness are woven into daily life, and she carries that mindset into everything she does, working to build capable, prepared communities.

Since 2010, Emily has served as an instructor support and scenario facilitator for high-fidelity emergency preparedness exercises. Over the past three years, she has extended that role into wilderness medicine, facilitating scenarios for Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, and Wilderness EMT courses. She designs realistic outdoor scenarios, coaches students through patient assessment and evacuation practice, and leads debriefs.

Emily also teaches Amateur Radio through a local club and is a licensed private pilot. The high-pressure decision-making that flight training demands has sharpened her ability to stay calm and make sound calls under stress.

She teaches and works across cultures, fluent in Tagalog, English, and Italian, with working knowledge of several other languages.
